Run for Peace
Villages in Sidon and East Sidon witnessed massive displacement, devastated villages, ruined houses, damaged infrastructure and income loss during the Lebanese civil war. Many of the original residents were displaced for more than a decade. The civil war created feelings of inequality, isolation and mistrust between communities of different denominations and affiliations.
